Mark M. McKenzie, MD
Dr. McKenzie is a full-time Primary Investigator with an on-site commitment to the investigations conducted at ClinSearch. He has been practicing Internal Medicine in Southeast Tennessee and the Chattanooga area since 2002. In 1991, Dr. McKenzie received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Southern Adventist University. After spending four years working as a medical technologist, he decided to study medicine. He completed medical school and his residency at the Medical College of Ohio at the University of Toledo in 2002.
Christy Sweet, LPN, CCRP
Regional Operations Manager
Christy joined ClinSearch in October 2008. She began her research career as a clinical research coordinator in 2007. She achieved SOCRA Certification in November 2011. Christy is a licensed practical nurse and previously worked for eight years as a nurse supervisor in geriatrics. She is certified in IATA, CITI, OSHA, CSSRS, CPR, and dietary counseling. Christy has extensive research experience in neurology conditions such as migraine, insomnia, Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. Christy’s research experience also includes OIC, weight loss, gastroparesis, and IBS-constipation. Christy provides operational management and support to our Southeast Region at our Tennessee and Georgia facilities.
